Traffic

• An average of 50 daily truck trips are proposed during Phase 1 (construction of site) of the project.

• During Phase 2 (excavation), it is anticipated that 232 outbound truck trips will occur on an average day.

• During Phases 3 and 4 (extraction and landfill) almost 400 daily truck trips will be made.

• Primary access to the site will be from Calzada de la Fuente, off Alta Road about ½ miles north of the Alta Road and Otay Mesa Road intersection.
